So, you’ve decided to take the plunge and install a custom pool in your backyard. Congratulations! Get ready for endless summer fun- let's dive in!

Step 1: PLAN LIKE A PRO (choose your POOL TYPE and LOCATION)-

First things first, figure out where you want your pool. Measure the area, double-check zoning regulations, and make sure there aren’t any underground pipes or cables where you plan to dig. Remember, planning is key!

Step 2: APPLY FOR THE NECESSARY PERMITS-

Permits are essential for building a pool, but once you have the green light, it’s time to move on to the fun part!

Step 3: MARK THE LAYOUT OF YOUR POOL, then EXCAVATE THE POOL AREA!

Step 4: INSTALL PLUMBING and ELECTRICAL LINES-

Make sure to hire a licensed plumber and electrician to install the plumbing and electrical for your pool.

Step 5: INSTALL FRAMEWORK or SHELL of the POOL.

Step 6: POUR THE CONCRETE-

If you’re going the concrete route, now’s the time to pour. This step is all about precision and patience. Once the concrete is set, you can start to see your vision come to life.

Step 7: FINISH and FILL-

With the structure in place, it’s time to add the finishing touches. This includes tiling, coping, and any additional features like a diving board or water slide. Once you're satisfied with the finish, it’s time to fill your new pool up and watch your dream pool transform from a construction site to a backyard oasis!

Step 8: TEST and ENJOY-

Before you dive in, test the water chemistry and ensure everything is working correctly. Once everything is perfect, grab your swimsuit and dive in!
