1. HOA Fees and Rules: Make sure to find out if there is an HOA and understand the fees and what they cover (maintenance, amenities, etc.). Also, make sure to review the rules to ensure they align with your lifestyle, such as pet policies, exterior modifications, or rental restrictions!

2. Layout and Space: Consider the layout of the townhome and how it fits your needs. Townhomes often have multiple levels, so think about the flow of the space, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and storage areas like closets or a garage!

3. Location and Community: Look at the neighborhood’s amenities, accessibility to schools, shops, and public transport, as well as future development plans. It’s essential to choose a community that matches your lifestyle and long-term needs!

One more thing I always think about while I’m touring homes with clients is if the home is suitable for their entertaining needs! Some townhome complexes don’t have much parking, don’t allow guests to park on the street etc etc, so just one more thing to think about if ENTERTAINING is important to YOU!
